'Identity blogging' up for 2004 Bloggie award.

We'd like to congratulate the following:

  • Cecily Walker Kidd of Formica for writing "Black Bloggers: My Posse's Gone Virtual" (also here) and birthing the identity-blogging meme.
  • Lynne d Johnson's "Thoughts while surfing," for her passing the meme along.
  • Earl Dunovant's Prometheus 6 (newly relocated) for binding up the meme's threads.
  • ms. lauren at feministe for suggesting the meme's worth for nomination.
  • The "Identity Blogging" faces daunting competition in this year's Bloggies in the category for best meme ("a replicating idea that spread about weblogs"): BlogShares, Subliminal Mutterings, 100 Things About Me and the Friday Five.

Our readers are encouraged to vote their consciences until January 31st. Please read and follow all rules as posted at Fairvue Central's Fourth Annual Weblog Awards.

While we're at it, we'd like to mention our attachment to Movable Type (up for best web application for weblogs),
