I am afraid more often than not, but I have learned to do it anyway.

[...] This blog believe it or not is in no way connected to my work as a writer. But this is a great exercise in thinking through my thoughts. I often worry that I won't be taken seriously because of the things I write, but I decided it’s a chance I must take. I mean I could write about my love life, but then again there would not be much to write, or the CDs I am listening to, which I have before. But no, I have chosen to write about sexuality. Hopefully, if nothing else, I will write about sexuality intelligently, critically, and insightfully. Lord knows there is such a lack of intelligent thinking and writing on the subject of sexuality. And though I am aware of the few brilliant contributions, I am still aware that there are far too few. I think one can write about sexuality and desire as vigorously, as passionately, as intelligently, as others have written about art, or politics. That is all for now. Just my little rant.
