MIT Media Lab student's blog survey

The release of the results summing up MIT Media Lab Ph.D candidate Fernanda Viégas' blog survey yields some surprising demographic data about 486 participating webloggers, online diarists and personal publishers who sent in responses between January 14 and January 21, 2004 to questions about privacy and liability.

Of most immediate interest was that among respondents, 1 percent identified themselves as African-American and 0.4 percent called themselves African.
