    one of my best friends was born in argentina to his native father, and his african-american mother. he's told me stories of how badly he gets treated by the locals and his siblings when visiting his father [who still lives there] on account of his professing to be argentinian despite being black, i didn't realize it was bad as the article puts it though.

    whoa. i had know idea it was like that. we, at least i, tend to forget about the plight of displaced blacks in other parts of the world. whoa, i say again.
